This tour includes a visit to the famous Athirapally Waterfalls which is rightly known as the Indian Niagra. Located at about 80 feet high in forest area. This short tour is a complete backwater tour comprising of a stay in a resort near to backwaters in Kumarakom and 2 days 1 night cruise in houseboat over the Kerala backwaters. Day-3: Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country'. Its strategic importance over the centuries is underlined by the sobriquet Queen of the Arabian Sea. Informally, Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala.  You can the beautiful Periyar National Park that also houses the huge Periyar lake- India's highest lake above sea level. Alleppey (Alappuzha), also known as Venice of The East, is a place of immense natural beauty in Kerala. It attracts several thousands of foreign tourists each year. It is famous for boat races, houseboat holidays, beaches, marine products and coir products.
